Can I cancel/amend my order?
Depending on the status of your order, it may be possible to cancel an item or request a different colour for an item you have already purchased. Please note, we’re unable to add an item to an existing order.

Can I have my bag repaired?
Esin Akan handbags carry a 12-month guarantee and lifetime repair service.
In the unlikely event that your handbag requires repair within 12 months of purchase, we will cover the cost of the repair, and return it to your chosen address free of charge. We require proof of purchase confirming that your item was bought directly from esinakan.com. Repairs will not be offered for items purchased second-hand or from unauthorised sellers.
Please send your item back with a note inside the bag including the order number, name, return address and part to fix.
Please return your item at your own expense to Esin Akan Returns, 16 Croxted Road, SE21 8SW, U.K. and provide the tracking number to info@esinakan.com.
Normal wear and tear of the leather is excluded from our guarantee, and we are unable to repair marks or stains. To help prevent staining, we recommend avoiding contact with clothing made from strong dyes, such as dark denim. The natural softening of the bag’s shape over time is not considered a fault, as this occurs with regular use.
What if my bag needs repair after 12 months?
Esin Akan offers a lifetime repair service. If your handbag requires repair after 12 months, we can provide a quote for the repair along with any associated shipping costs if you are unable to arrange return shipping yourself. Access to our lifetime repair service is only available with proof of purchase from Esin Akan. The lifetime repair service is not available for items bought second-hand or from unauthorised sellers.

How do you recommend I look after my leather bag?
To preserve the original look and feel of the leather, avoid direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and extreme temperatures. Esin Akan recommends gently wiping the leather with a slightly damp, soft cloth to remove any loose dirt. Please store in the Esin Akan dust bag in an upright position with paper stuffing, ensuring all straps and chains are placed inside the bag to avoid marking the leather. We recommend professional cleaning services when required.
How may I care for the hardware?
Our exquisite hardware is meticulously crafted from responsibly sourced materials. In select cases, we have enhanced its resilience by applying a protective lacquer. To maintain the pristine condition of the hardware we recommend using a dry, soft microfiber cloth, applying gentle circular motions during cleaning.
Please exercise caution, exposure to chemical substances like alcohol, hand sanitizer, acetone, hand lotions or sunscreen may compromise the original finish - resulting in discolouration and lacquer removal. If this occurs, promptly and gently clean the surface with a damp microfiber cloth and allow it to air dry. Furthermore, it is essential to avoid contact with rough or abrasive surfaces, as this may lead to scratches and irreversible damage to the hardware.
